Rachid Ait Babahmad holds a PhD in Ecology and Environment from Cadi Ayyad University. He received his undergraduate in Growth and Plant Protection and his Masters of Science in Ecological Engineering and Methodologies of Analysis and Management of Biodiversity from Cadi Ayyad University, Semlalia Faculty of Sciences, Marrakech, in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Rachid joined Global Diversity Foundation in March 2017. As GDF’s Project and Field Coordinator and MBLA Team Coordinator, Rachid manages project activities, collects data related to biodiversity, implements biodiversity conservation actions and builds capacity of community researchers in field research. Rachid is also in charge of continuing successful relations with our diverse partner network, including local NGOs, authorities, cooperatives and institutions in Morocco. He actively contributes towards project proposals, implementation and management.
Rachid is a fluent speaker of Tamazight, Arabic, French and English. He is based in Morocco.
